Pensacola's Salute to Veterans
Saturday, November 11th, 7:30 p.m. Saenger Theatre
Pensacola has a rich history when it comes to our military. We are honored to be the Cradle of Naval Aviation as well as the home of the Blue Angels Flight Squadron. This veteran’s day, in partnership with the FooFoo Festival, we would like to pay tribute to our veterans. Join us for “Pensacola’s Salute to Veterans,” a concert event featuring all branches of the US Armed Forces and music by the Pensacola Civic Band. We invite all veterans to attend this concert free of charge.
This concert features several special guests:
Frank Emond, (Ret)
Pearl Harbor Survivor
Christmas at the College
Monday & Tuesday, December 11th & 12th, 7:30 p.m.
Pensacola State College, Ashmore Auditorium
This is one of the most favorite times for the Pensacola Civic Band and for the Pensacola Music Community. With a festive air and bounce all around, we surround ourselves with the sights and sounds of Christmas. From decorations throughout Downtown Pensacola to the buzz in all the stores, one constant is the music of the Holiday season. We welcome back each year our favorite characters with open arms; Frosty, Rudolph, the Grinch, and many more, and sing their songs that bring back those fond memories. Join the Pensacola Civic Band at the Ashmore Auditorium and celebrate the season through music.
Heal Our Land
Saturday, April 14th, 7:30 p.m. Saenger Theatre
Music has always been a vehicle used to unify and bind people together. With all the division throughout our country, we invite everyone to come together and celbrate who we are as Americans in this concert event, Heal Our Land featuring the Pensacola Civic and special guest artist Brian Shaw, Associate Professor at LSU, on trumpet.
