The Pensacola Civic Band auditions are ongoing and will be held Tuesday evenings, on an appointment only basis, beginning at 6 p.m. Don Snowden, Musical Director of the Pensacola Civic Band, is especially interested in auditioning new players for flute, clarinet, oboe, horn, trumpet, trombone, and percussion. Audition requirements are on the Pensacola Civic Band website under the Join Us link.
Nationally recognized as the winner of the John Philip Sousa Foundation’s Sudler Silver Scroll Award, the Civic Band has been sponsored by Pensacola State College since 1971. The 39th season’s performances will be held in Pensacola.
Rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings in the Kennedy Rehearsal Hall in the Ashmore Auditorium, Building 8 on the Pensacola Campus of Pensacola State College beginning at 7 p.m.

Usually auditions are held at 6 p.m. on Tuesdays before band rehearsal. The audition will be conducted in his studio Room 858-A in the Ashmore Auditorium at Pensacola State College's Pensacola campus.
