The United States Navy Band from Washington, D.C., will perform a free concert at the Saenger Theatre in Pensacola on February 23, 2015 at 7:30p.
Under the baton of Capt. Brian O. Walden, the band will present a variety of popular and classical favorites. This special performance by the Navy’s premier musical organization is part of the Navy Band’s national tour. The band performs frequently at the White House and the U.S. Capitol Building, and has participated in 21 presidential inaugurals.
Members of several local high school bands will join the Navy Band on stage to perform John Phillip Sousa’s “Washington Post March.”
The concert is free, but tickets are required. Tickets are available starting January 13, 2015. Tickets may be picked up at the Lyceum Ticket Office at Pensacola State College or at the Pensacola Saenger Theatre.
Any unclaimed seats will be available to non ticket holders just prior to concert time.
